The linen was absolutely lovely to sleep in. Attention to detail has certainly been second to none when setting this house up as holiday accommodation. Pine Cottage gave us a really relaxing long stay in Melbourne. We felt completely at home there. Pine Cottage provided nice little extras such as soaps, tea and coffee sachets, hairdryer, washing powder etc. as well as television, dvd and cd players, games and magazines We would definitely stay in Pine Cottage again on our next trip from the UK to Melbourne.

The ducted heating was a most welcome feature to counter Melbourne's chilly nights! Excellent value for money and will definitely stay here again when we next visit Melbourne."

The house was also very clean. We had just emigrated from the UK when we stayed here and it was a great base to visit all the places we needed to. The owners were also extremely helpful in letting us extend dates and such like. Choose this property, you'll have a fantastic stay!!!"

Rating 5 /5 "We were impressed from the moment we walked into this spotless property, only to be more impressed by the lovely touches the owners had provided. Everything we needed was there including dishwashing/cleaning products, tea, coffee, jams, sugar, milk in the fridge and even glad wrap/foil, as well as washing powder, soaps for the bathroom and bubble bath for the spa. The box of chocolates with the tea bags made my 3 year old grandson's day! The high quality of the furniture and linen was matched by the service provided to us by the owners. We will definitely be back if we are lucky enough to find a vacancy. "

A fantastic accommodation. Clean, spacious, comfortable, very well appointed and with quality furnishings and linen. Every thought and effort has gone into making us feel very welcome and at home. A vase of freshly cut tulips and a tray of fine tea sachets complete with sachets of cream and sugar were the ultimate personal gestures that touched our hearts. We would be most happy to return and be pampered again!

We visited Melbourne in August to see friends and look at Australia as a possible home for our family. Pine Cottage was a stroke of luck - a warm and comfortable home, close to good transport links, the city and to beautiful countryside such as Healsville area and the Dandenongs as well as the Mornington Peninsula. Shopping was easy at Studsville and Knox City. But the star was the house. Our kids loved having a 'home from home', the welcome pack was a surprise but lovely and in all it was cheaper than motel accomodation. We have already asked if the owners would consider a longer lease when we return. A great place to stay.

Literally, a home away from home! A spanking new one at that too! Comfortably sleeps 6 and there is plenty of open space as well! It's so well equipped that you can cook, wash and do your laundry just like you are at home. No compromise! The owner has thought of all the little things so you don't need to worry about things such as washing liquid, washing powder, soap, toilet paper etc. Just bring your bags and clothes. Perfect for a short stay in Melbourne especially you wish to be in the eastern suburb.

My family spent two weeks at pine cottage in July and early August.It was great loacated at the end of a quiet street .Everything was taken care of .When I found the can opner was broken I phoned the owner and told him that it was broken. The next day when we arrived back he'd left a new one on the dooor step. Very impressed and I'd recommend this place to anyone .Great if you have kids.

Very well appointed, comfortable, clean, well located, good sized house that accomadated a family of 2 adults + 4 kids easily. Beds extremely comfortable linen of very high standard. All the appointments you need to self cater for a family for a couple of weeks. If you need to be in the eastern suburbs, cant go past this place. Highly recommended, good value for money.

Spacious, warm (the ducted heating was greatly appreciated in the middle of winter by this family who come from a warmer climate) and comfortable house where we would have been happy to stay for longer. Much more than a pine cottage. Great location in Eastern Melbourne suburbs close to shops, transport, aquatic center, parks and walks. The home and furnishings were way beyond what we expected for the price and made the stay very comfortable with everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back to Pine Cottage again! Excellent rental.
